Constitutional status of the President

The President of the Republic of Vestina is the head of state, its highest-ranking official, who determines the main directions of the country’s domestic and foreign policy and represents the Republic of Vestina both domestically and in international relations;

The President of the Republic of Vestina is a symbol and guarantor of the unity of the people and state authority, the inviolability of the Constitution, and the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens;

The President ensures the coordinated functioning of all branches of government and accountability;

The President has the right to act on behalf of the people and the state;

The President, along with his honor and dignity, is inviolable. Any encroachment on the honor and dignity of the President is punishable by law.

The President is elected for a term of 5 years.

The President of the Republic of Vestina issues Decrees and Orders. 

The President has the right to call elections and referendums.

Президентом Республики Вестина может быть избран гражданин Республики Вестина достигший 30 лет, имеющий высшее образование, свободно владеющий русским или английским языком.

The President of the Republic of Vestina shall independently appoint the Chief Governor, Governors, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Service, the Head of the Department for Civil Service Affairs, and members of the Presidential Administration.
