Decree of the President of the Republic of Vestina No. 42

ON AMENDMENTS TO THE LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF VESTINA “ON LEGAL ACTS”

I DECREE:

1. To supplement the Law of the Republic of Vestina “On Legal Acts” with the following:

“Article 10. Procedure for Amending Legal Acts.

1. Amendments and additions to the legal acts of the Republic of Vestina are introduced for the purpose of clarifying, improving, repealing, or bringing them into compliance with the Constitution, laws, and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Vestina.
2. Amendments to legal acts are made by the body that initiated the legal act.
3. Amendments and additions are formalized in a separate legal act, which specifies:

— the full title of the act being amended;

— the specific articles, clauses, subclauses, or paragraphs to be amended, supplemented, or repealed;

— the wording of the new or amended version.

• If the amendments are systemic in nature and affect more than half of the text of a legal act, the act must be published and submitted to the Civil Participation Information System.
• Amendments and additions acquire legal force from the moment of their official publication, unless otherwise provided by the act itself.
• Amendments that worsen the legal position of citizens or organizations are not permitted, unless explicitly stated in the law.

The decree enters into force upon signature.
