ON AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF VESTINA “ON THE PRESIDENT”
Decree Having the Force of Law

For the purpose of improving the legal provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Vestina, and pursuant to Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Vestina “On Legal Acts,”

I DECREE:

1. To introduce the following amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Vestina “On the President”:

1. Article 3 of the Constitutional Law shall be set forth in the following wording:

«Article 3. Assumption of Office of the President of the Republic of Vestina

1. Президента Республики Вестина вступает в должность с момента принесения народу следующей присяги: «Торжественно клянусь верно служить народу Республики Вестина, строго следовать Конституции и законам Республики Вестина, гарантировать права и свободы граждан, добросовестно выполнять возложенные на меня высокие обязанности Президента Республики Вестина. Обязуюсь чтить культуру и традиции нашего народа, помнить историю, уважать государственный язык». Текст присяги произносится Президентом на государственном языке».

• The oath shall be taken within 14 days from the date the official results of the elections are established.
• The taking of the oath in a digital format shall be permitted, with the publication of a certificate signed by the elected President containing the text of the oath.

• Paragraph 8 of Article 7 shall be set forth in the following wording:

“8. Independently appoints the Governors of the Government of the Republic of Vestina;”

• Article 8 shall be set forth in the following wording:

«Article 8. Interaction between the President of the Republic of Vestina and the Judiciary The President of the Republic of Vestina:

1. Judges of lower arbitral courts, including the appellate and cassation courts, shall be appointed by Decree of the President upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Justiarum.

2. The Chairpersons of the arbitral courts shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Justiarum.

3. The Chairman of the Justiarum shall be appointed by Decree of the President with the consent of the Garacium.

• Article 9 shall be excluded from the Constitutional Law.

• Article 10 of the Constitutional Law shall be set forth in the following wording:

Article 10. Interaction between the President of the Republic of Vestina and the Central

Election Commission

President of the Republic of Vestina:

1. Appoints the Chairperson and three members of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Vestina.

2. Approves the Regulations on the Central Election Commission.

3. Receives reports from the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission on the progress of preparations for the scheduled national referendum, elections of Members of Parliament, presidential elections, and on the results of the referendum and elections.

2. In accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Vestina “On Legal Acts,” this Decree shall be published in the Civil Participation Information System.

The decree enters into force upon signature.
